    Abbeyrd Steve,

    Badfinger drummer Mike Gibbins website http://www.mikegibbins.com/ posted an announcment that he passed away Tuesday. He was 55 years of age. There were no other details. RIP Mike.

    And from Sir Barb Alan Atkinson:

    Steve, Mike Gibbins, the original drummer for Badfinger, passed away in his sleep sometime in the morning of October 4th. The cause of death is still unknown. I thought you might want to pass the word along. Thanks Barb
