  • A man charged with breaking into the luxury flat of apartments in Chelsea, London, where Ringo Starr lives has died while in custody, and investigators want to look into the possibility that the man may have targeted the former Beatle, reports the UK Mirror. The man, 32, was held by security guards until police arrived, collapsed in custody and was taken to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where he died four days later. The death is being investigated by the Independent Police Complaints Commission, which is looking into exactly what the man's intentions were. (Comment: Obviously, the implications of what this could be are frightening. Hopefully, the police investigation will sort it out. We just hope this ends up as nothing more than it is -- a burglary.)
