(5/8/2008) Dhani Harrison's band, thenewno2, is reportedly planning a tour of the U.S. in the autumn, reports
This is Nottingham and the Daily Express.

A source quoted by the Daily Express said, "Dhani isn't a big attention seeker but it's understood he hopes to go on the road in the autumn. Dhani will be keen to keep things low key and they'll be playing small venues, but there's bound to be a lot of interest."

The group, which consists of Harrison on lead guitar, synthesizer and vocals, and Oliver Hecks on percussion and vocals and is named after a recurring phrase from the '60s TV series "The Prisoner," has several videos on YouTube and its own pages on MySpace and Facebook.

Harrison, who turns 30 this year, performed at the Concert For George and also on "Brainwashed," his father's last album. According to Wikipedia, he also contributed to the 2007 EP by Heartstring Symphony and Rooney's 2007 cd Calling the World, "The Heart Gently Weeps", a re-working of the Beatles' "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", and the first single off of the Wu-Tang Clan's album, "8 Diagrams," released in December 2007. He also collaborated with Jakob Dylan on a cover of John Lennon's "Gimme Some Truth," for the Lennon tribute album "Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur."
