(5/16/2009) Paul McCartney has written a letter to President Barack Obama asking him to support the group OneVoice, which is working towards a two-state solution (and a moderate voice) to bring peace to the Middle East. McCartney became a member of the group's International Board of Advisors earlier this year, joining fellow celebrity members including Danny DeVito and Muhammed Ali. In a statement posted on his website, McCartney stated, “This seems to me like a great idea, the symbolism of two people from both sides coming together to spread their message of peace via music is exciting and inspiring for me.
