Hi Steve Thanks as always for a wonderful site. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere on your site, but Nitin Sawhney released London Undersound was released (at least in the UK) last week - Monday Oct. 13th, to be exact, containing the track "My Soul", a collaboration with Paul. I live in the US and haven't seen it available here, but in the UK it's available along with a "Commentary Track" on iTunes here. I was able to get a copy, and it's a nice track - reminiscent of You Tell Me from "Memory Almost Full." Nothing lifechanging, but nice nonetheless.

(8/1/2008) A forthcoming track from Nitin Sawhney's forthcoming album, "London Undersound," which is due in August, has Paul McCartney all over it. The song, called "My Soul," is an ballad with Paul's vocal very much in evidence.

I believe that Nitin Sawhney worked on Paul's new fireman album and this is a return favor that Paul appears on his album due in August/September called "London Undersound" on a track called "My Soul". It kind of sounds Fireman inspired sonically but the song sounds amazing. I was completely caught off guard and wasn't expecting it to be so good. Some nice strings in it .and This is a must pick up, I've never heard Paul do something like this... almost reminds me of some of the Chaos and Creation stuff with Nigel Godrich. Track clocks in at 4 minutes and 1 second. I think people will be surprised at this one. (Thanks to Maccawings and Tom.)
