VARIOUS -- THINGS GO BETTER WITH COKE (no label): Yes! Another disc of Coca-Cola commercials, this includes 63 Coke radio spots (and a bonus "Come Alive" Pepsi ad) from '65-69 and includes a number not included on the "Coca-Cola Commercials" disc we discuss below. The quality isn't as uniformly excellent as that disc. Some tracks sound like they come from acetates. But where else are you gonna hear Coke commercials by Freddie and the Dreamers (done to the tune of "I'm Telling You Now"), two by the Bee Gees (one more than the other disc) and spots by Mary Hopkin, Neil Diamond, Roy Orbison, the Moody Blues, the Tremeloes, the Troggs, Los Bravos, the Everly Brothers, the New Vaudeville Band and, our favorite, Nancy Sinatra. This one also seems to be cheaper than the first disc. Well worth picking up, especially if you didn't get the first one. (July '96)
