VARIOUS ARTISTS -- COCA-COLA COMMERCIALS (No label): I'm not sure if this is an authorized release (the disc says MANUFACTURED IN SOUTH AMERICA), but it sure is fun. This disc has 65 Coke commercials from 1966-69 (where are '64-65??). Artists include Tom Jones, Nancy Sinatra, The Moody Blues, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, The Supremes, Roy Orbison, Vanilla Fudge and the Bee Gees!! Sound quality is excellent. The disc was a bit on the expensive side ($26 approximately), but it's worth it. This is one of my favorite discs of 1995. Don't ask me where to get it, but I have seen it listed in Goldmine. (Dec. '95) (Update June '97) We've heard this has been reissued as "Great Cola Commercials, Vol. 1," though we haven't seen the reissue itself.
